Bouncy Seat

Eli enjoyed playing in his bouncy seat with his toys today. He likes it on the vibration setting with the heart beat sound! Yesterday we went through 7 outfits total! Most were because we were trying to let him get some air during diaper changes and somehow he always managed to pee even though we had him covered up! Last night we started laughing SO hard because we were changing him into a new outfit and right as Brandon was putting the diaper on he pooped all over the new outfit! This kid is out of control! We got his newborn pictures in the mail. It's amazing how different he looks in just a week!

Eli's theme verse:

"And he will go on before the Lord, in the spirit and power of Elijah, to turn the hearts of the fathers to their children and the disobedient to the wisdom of the righteous--to make ready a people prepared for the Lord."
-Luke 1:17

He's got a Fohawk like his daddy!

There is a God!

Eli has had his days and nights mixed up....needless to say...it's been really hard! Last night he slept all night just waking up every 3/4 hours to eat. It was amazing! We'll see if it lasts :-)

March 1 photos!

Family Day

Today we had a lot of family around hanging out with Eli! My dad and brother came down, as well as Brandon's mom. It was great! My mom (we call her Super Granny Nightime Nanny)went home tonight after staying with us a week. I don't think we could have survived without her cooking, cleaning, and helping us at night so we could get sleep.

Eli actually had a 4 hour stretch of sleep last night, so things are looking up! I'm hoping it's a sign he's getting his days and nights turned back around. During tummy time he's been lifting up his head a lot and lifting his head and turning it to the other side! We are really enjoying his facial expressions. He smiles all the time and puckers his big lips (they are totally Brandon's). I can't help but call him "mister tortuga (turtle in Spanish) or "seƱor tortuga" because he seriously has a little turtle face with that nose and big upper lip. So adorable!

Eli's first appointment!

Eli had his first appointment today! He is doing great! He's already caught back up to his birth weight (he left the hospital weighing 6 lbs 10 ounces) now he's 7 lbs 3.4 ounces. He really likes to eat and is great at it! He was great in the car and with the doctor! We took him out on a little walk in the stroller, since it was gorgeous! He slept through it :-)

He really hates getting his diaper changed and clothes changed...poor little guy! That's about the only time he cries...and when he's hungry. Brandon's has been shot with pee during diaper changes several times, so he's learned his lesson and is always prepared with a wash cloth.

Eli really likes his toys, and tolerates tummy time when we're showing him his toys and books. When we read to him he examines each page before we turn it....so cute!
